I have a divorce trial in three weeks and I need to exchange exhibit lists. Can I list the defendant's response to my request for documents and things, with all the attached documents, as one exhibit? Do I have to list the previously filed asset and debt statements as exhibits?
Then when I submit the exhibits to court, do I need to make 3 copies of all the exhibits I want to submit (that's a lot of copies!) Do I have to submit things that have already been filed (like previous court orders, or previously filed asset and debt statements) in order to use them as evidence? Does "submit" (the word used in the family court rules) mean something different from "file"?
