my mom sold my husband and me her car and put my name and his name not or. They did a correction form but mom has to sign and she is incapable of signing now. we need to get this done and get our tag for the car. i don't know what to do.
If I understand correctly, the car has been sold to one of you. The one who now owns it can retitle the car, adding the second person onto the title. Does this not fix your problem?
To get this resolved, you will need to do one of a few possibilities. Some additional information is needed to since there are several options. If someone has a power of attorney for your mom, then that person could sign the form for your mom. If not, is there a guardian or conservator who could sign the form? Still, if not, you could get her to sign it as long as she has moments of clarity (lucid) and is willing to do it.
