What do I need to do if my grandmother remarried and passed and new family is trying to take everything ?

The deed is a matter of public record. You can find that in the county register's office where the property is located. If you don't know where a will is located, then the estate would become an intestate estate and proceed accordingly. I would consult with an attorney in your area.
