I have been diagnosed with four mental health ailments and several physical ailments. Previous attorneys I have had have failed to mention the main one (PTSD) and refuse to do anything else. I have been denied by the regular case and by the Appeals Court. I have checked into the only other attorney I have found that does these "civil actions" and they refuse to even look at all of my paperwork, let alone take my case. I am supposed to be on several medications which affect my ability to work. My mental status alone affects my ability to work as well. I have 65 days from the date of the last denial letter to file a "Civil Action" and I have absolutely no idea what to do or how to do it. Can anyone please give me some kind of advice? Thank you for your time.
Without an attorney your odds of success are nil in my opinion. Contact www.nosscr.org and perhaps they can find you counsel. Do not delay as there are very short and very strict deadlines.
