I had my court on the the 9th of February but i thought it read the 29th so i missed it and they don't open until the 13th should i go in by myself to explain the situation or should i find a lawyer, if so any recommendations.
My recommendation would be to call the court clerk and see if they will reset your hearing date. Sometimes, in these cases, the judge delays issuing a warrant for failure to appear and if so, they might agree to reset it. You should speak with an attorney versed in traffic citations in your area.

You still need to consult an attorney directly to fully protect your legal rights.
