I accidentally stole $20 from the work while meaning to take $20 from a customer. I was working the register and someone gave me 2 20's for their bill of 17. I thought id be slick and take the 20 during a cash pickup later. I ended up getting 2 20's stuck together. I didn't realize until I went home. I didn't mean to steal from the store, just the customer. the keyholder knew 20 was missing. I made my cash pickup for 100, and took 120 from the drawer. keeping the 20, which turned out to be 40. everything would have been perfect if the bills didn't stick together. karma.
Hire a criminal defense attorney. It will cost you more than the $20 that you stole.......
You face being fired, facing jail time for theft/embezzlement, and bad karma for ripping off two people with one go, without even being sorry.
Hire a criminal defense attorney asap.
