He showed up at my job the day after my boss said to me only that he was not allowed on property. He came in yelling and took my phone from purse and took tablet from car and left. I called police they got him and the stuff. Later that night they went to house and arrested him for criminal trespassing and 2 theifs. I was now supeanaed to testify against him. I dont want to get him to get charged. My boss and a coworker was subpoenaed as well.
What can you do to help help your boyfriend with his criminal trespassing and theft charges? Is that your Question? First, Honor your subpoena to testify and maybe explain to the DA or CA that you would like to see your boyfriend get a good plea bargain in the case. Good luck
You cannot ignore a subpoena, so you will need to attend. If you do not want to testify, you need to be prepared to deal with the judge and the DA and therefore recommend that you speak with your boyfriend’s criminal defense attorney or hire your own attorney. The attorney can advise you on possible issues you will face such as contempt of court. You can try to handle this on your own by just telling the DA that you do not wish to testify and say no more. The DA may be able to prove their case without you depending on what he is charged with.
