What can the victims families do when the defendant continues to fire his attorney, thus postponing the trial?
My husbands cousin, his wife & their friend were shot to death 4 years ago. The person responsible was found & charged with their murders, they have yet to start a trial because the defendant fires his attorneys the day of the trials. Today has marked the 3rd time he’s done this. Thus postponing the trial to March 2020. What can the families of the murder victims do to once and for all get the trial started. I understand it falls on the explanation of as long as the judge allows. But good gracious after 3 times! Surely a judge would have a sense that enough is enough. Victims have rights too, can’t they file something or make a request of some sort?
