My daughter and her boyfriend had a fight and she filed charges against him. It was an assault and battery, but lowered to a disorderly conduct charge. She went to drop the charges and she was not allowed too, now they have a court date. They have stayed together and he knows he made a bad choice. Could the charges be dropped if they plead their case?
