My ex wife was ordered to pay a portion of my attorneys fees ($750) due to her not complying with orders during our trial; It was to determine parenting time for our children after our divorce was finalized. The judgement was ordered on 08/20/2015 and there was no deadline so she refuses to pay a dime. I had my attorney file a motion to provide a deadline, but the judge just said for it to be repaid within a "reasonable amount of time". I'm not sure what a reasonable amount of time is. I no longer have my attorney and now I don't know what to do because she still refuses to pay me. I have sent several demand letters and they are ignored.
Unfortunately if no deadline was provided, it's very unlikely that this will be considered contemptuous. If it's a judgment, you may consider initiating collection action, though wage garnishment may be the only real option.
