I was given a improper lane change citation/accident citation and I've heard a million different horror stories about trying to fight traffic tickets in Dekalb County. What can I expect and how should I plead if I show up to my court date? If I plead not guilty, will I have to show up again? Or do I have a better chance of a reduced fine and no points if I plead nolo or guilty? Please someone help! I've never had a citation before and I really can't afford the ticket this close to Christmas!
Please see my answer to your other question. Nolo will not reduce your fine amount. Your best bet is to plead not guilty, and hope the other driver doesn't show up on your trial date.
