Hello, I made a huge mistake a few weeks ago by drinking and driving. Not only was I operating while intoxicated but I’m 18. To make matters worse, I had a bottle of vodka in the backseat. On top of that, I agreed to take a breath test and blew a 0.17. I don’t expect to get sympathy or comfort in my case as it was a big mistake. I only learned from my experience and want to enforce the message that “drinking and especially driving while intoxicated is not worth it”. Luckily, no one was injured or harmed during the incident and no property was damaged; I was pulled over because of my driving. I have hired a lawyer to advise me during this time but I am just wondering what I can expect as consequences due to my selfish acts. I am in Indianapolis if that helps.
I have moved your question to the DUI forum. I suggest you retain a local attorney and stop posting admissions on the internet / social media.
