Since my father's passing last year I've been going through all his paperwork I came across what I believe is a bank share Bond. I'm not well-versed at all in anything like this I would like to know what the value is. I started to look into it and it's so complicated. In September 1977 he purchased 22,500 shares at $10 per share. And I have no idea where to go or who to talk to about this I'd like to know if any the value of it. I do know that the company is Huntington South which I believe is a filiation affiliation of Wells Fargo Bank. Anyone someone please help! Thank you so much.
Changed the tag so you can get a good answer. I suggest you contact an attorney who handles wills, estates and trusts.
If the bond shares are worth their face value ($225,000) then it would be worth your while to engage an attorney to help you.
