I have been going around in circles for the past few years with my condo board. Shortly after I moved in I noticed a hum in my unit that was not there when I bought it. Fast fw a couple years later and after being put off by the board, finally determined that the hum was coming from the pump room below my unit. I have tiredlessly tried to work with the board finally hired a lawyer. The lawyer was more interested in padding the bill than helping me. Their lawyer said they took steps to resolve the issue but it didn’t. The insulation they installed was not for sounds. I pushed them to replace with sound insulation. Last communication with them, they said they sprayed room with foam that is for sound. There has been no change and I reallly question if they did do the work or again went on the cheap and didn’t really address the issue properly, what can I do now? I still have a very audible humm in my unit to the point where I try to drown it with fan white noise. What now?!
