I was in an accident that wasn’t my fault, but no witnesses or traffic cameras to prove it. Oregon is a no fault state. When the cop arrived he tried giving me a ticket and threatened reckless driving if I didn’t accept it. In the pictures of the accident you can see my car headlights are on, later the cop clipped the battery wires and broke the passenger side window. He tried blaming the accident on the clipped wires and because of that the car wasn’t drivable and had to get towed
It sounds like you need to hire a good traffic ticket attorney to help you fight this ticket and try to keep it off your record. I'm not sure what you mean by "Oregon is a no fault state," especially where the officer clearly thinks you caused the accident and cited you accordingly. Keep watch on your mail for notice of license suspension, as accidents must be reported to DMV if there's over a certain dollar amount in damage or injury. If there's injury, beware you could be charged with assault or sued above your insurance limits. You need a good traffic ticket attorney, now.
