I have lived in my apartment since March 2012. From the beginning the electrical outlets haven't worked and the dishwasher overflows know hasn't been used and is all molded. I also noticed large cracks everywhere, baseboards, walls, and ceiling. I get panic attacks because my upstairs neighbors sound like they are trying to make the celing cave in.The front door is becoming more uneven and loose to the point anyone shuts the door mine slams with it. There is a busted pipe underneath the apartment and there is a standing puddle of water in front for the last month and half. I have brought everything to the management but NOTHING has been fixed electric outletes, dishwasher, refrigerator, garbage disposal, front door is loose and lets all the cold air in, ect...and I can't afford to move. Can I atleast put the refrigerator outside so I can get one that works?? PLEASE HELP!!!
I will move this question to the appropriate category for you. Have you contacted your landlord about these issues and requested repairs?

If your electrical does not work the landlord would be required to fix it under Civil Code Section 1941.1. To make the landlord fix this you should document everything wrong and then send them a demand letter. Have you contacted Legal Services of Northern California about this? They may be able to help you send a demand letter for free. See: https://lsnc.net/
