My son has a temporary restraining order with modification in them stating he can still go to visits but the father must refrain from abusing the child and stalking and harassment and ETC. My son was hurt on visit back in Feb with electrical stimulators on his wrist for 2 hours. But the judge still continue visits with modified retraining order. Next court date is in June. Just this week my child came back from visit late as always. I got upset with the father telling him I'm tired of him being late. He ignored me as always and walked away. I arrived home and he text me like isn't this your address " " with my address. He has never had my address in fact drop off is 3 miles away from my home. In court documents my address is private. I went to my local precinct to see if I can get a restraining order or something. They said I can't do nothing because I don't have a restraining order against him. The only way I can do something is having my Bronx attorney for family court do something for me. I live in New Jersey by the way. So I get home today after the precinct and 2 hours later ACS comes knocking on my door. The father called them telling them that my fiancé is abusing my child.
You can file a police report if he's violating the restraining order. Or speak with your attorney about it.
You need to speak with the lawyer who is already involved to find out what he feels that can be done in the existing proceeding.
