A man who threatened me with violence in order to get me to comply with his demands made a sex video of me. The video is actually from 2003. I actually stopped meeting with this man. He still has this video although I want it confiscated from him because he was only able to make the video by threatening me and now as of late, he is showing the video without my permission. The video is damaging to my reputation. I feel violated. My biggest concern about the situation now is that he still has the video and shows it to other people to damage my reputation.
You may want to consider hiring a lawyer to send a Cease and Desist letter. While a cease and desist letter has little legal impact, it is a relatively inexpensive way to put the person on notice that you are not going to let these actions continue and that you are serious about pursuing your legal remedies. It also tells the person that they could get in legal hot water which will cost them a lot of legal fees if nothing else. This will often convince them to stop their evil ways.
