I purchased a car in 2016 and later found out when trying to purchase auto insurance, that this car was supposed to be total loss in 2015. So therefore it's difficult for me to retrieve auto insurance for this car. I have put in a lot of time and money into this dealership as far as getting my car fixed and paying for additional titles. I just would like to know what I can do about this matter.

Any answer I provide should not be considered legal advice and does not create a lawyer-client relationship. I am not your attorney, and the answers I give are simply explanations of the law as I understand it, not recommendations of actions you should take. You should speak in person with a competent lawyer in your state in the appropriate practice area before acting on any advice given.
