Wednesday I was prescribed medicine from my OB for pinworms, I’m pregnant so I had to get an uncommon medicine. The same day I went to my pharmacy to see if they had it ready, they were really behind and told me it would probably be the next day before they got it filled, which I wasn’t happy about because who wants to live with worms, especially while pregnant. Thursday I received a text from them saying that they had it ordered and would contact me when it was ready for pickup. Saturday rolls around and I finally give them a call to be told it was never ordered because their warehouse was out of stock. Which would have been fine if they would have told me sooner so I could go to a different pharmacy. I had to transfer my prescription and now I have to wait until Monday before I can get treated. Is there anything I can do about it? I am extreamly frustrated and grossed out. If it wasn’t for their negligence I could have had my prescription by Friday, and now I have to live with worms for another weekend.
I am sorry to read of your troubles. File a complaint with the Pharmacy manager. Best of luck.
