My son was accused of theft &sent to jail 2wks ago his hearing was today all charges dropped but when his attorney called his po she told him that it could be days she had to file a petition the attorney said he never heard of that he only had 4days left on probation. This po tryd to have him put in jail 10 mths ago when my son was on a ventilator fighting for his life saying we were lying about it..he has complied with everything.
You need to speak with your son's attorney about this. Nothing you've stated talks about corruption.
Get through this and get your son off probation. POs arent there to make this a smooth experience - it's supposed to be unpleasant to discourage getting in trouble again. Hopefully he can avoid further trouble. Good luck!
I agree. No one likes their probation officer, and they are not always pleasant to those on probation nor the family of their subjects. If you have an attorney, have him or her file a petition to lift the detainer with the judge. The judge can release him forthwith, or schedule a hearing sooner.
