I was living in a house on section 8 my son got a brain tumor and now we have moved from that residence because mold was constantly coming back and still a year later I'm having breathing problems I get shortness of breath dizziness and when it gets hot it's very hard to breathe. Now my current landlord is harassing and is doing criminal behavior I've been threatened more than once now I'm afraid he will be evicting me and my kids in currently pregnant and I don't know what to do.
I am assuming you left the home with the mold. You need to be able to tie your health problems to the mold, which would likely require testing the mold. It's not as simple as saying there is mold and I have breathing problems, you need to prove that that specific mold created or exacerbated the breathing problems. Testing the mold may prove difficult if you do not have access to the home anymore.
I'm not exactly sure how to respond to the harassment and accusations of criminal behavior without getting more facts behind what specifically he is doing that is harassing and the accusations. He has to have grounds to evict you and he has to take you to small claims court to prove those grounds. Pregnancy or disability typically do not matter in eviction actions unless it's an issue regarding reasonable accommodations.
