Was he on probation in KY or TN as your question does not make it clear which state placed him on probation. If it was TN then it is likely that he will be extradited to TN to face the violation of probation charge(s). You should use Avvo's Find a Lawyer link (located above) to search for an attorney in the area (depending on whether it is KY or TN). It is hard to know what that judge will do in this case as we do not have your Fiancé's criminal record(s), the nature of the original charge(s) or the nature of the violations.
This opinion does not establish an attorney-client relationship, should not be relied upon as legal advice, and does not compel responsive follow-up answers. You are cautioned to contact a local attorney in your area who is duly licensed and is in good standing with the local state Bar for legal advice.
Violation of the terms and conditions of probation can lead to activation of the suspended prison sentence. The judge can also continue your fiancé on probation or modify the terms of probation. We don't have enough facts to give you a clear answer.
He could potentially have to serve his entire sentence or get another chance on probation. He needs to hire a quality Attorney.
