I got pulled over about two weeks ago by a CHP. I have a modified car and it's been 2 years I have not got pulled over until that day. I believe they are fix-it tickets. I will list all of them and I'd really appreciate it if you advise me what's best solution for each one of them! Also, I heard hiring a lawyer would be the best option? is this right? Thanks
From the top of the ticket:
CHP 215s marked
Uncorrectable Violation: VC 5200(a) License Plates, Two: Infraction.
Uncorrectable Violation: VC 26708(a)(1) Obstructed View - Tint on Windshield and Side windows: Infraction.
Uncorrectable Violation: VC 27156(b) Smog Device Defective/Modified/Altered: Infraction.
Correctable Violation: VC 27150(a) Muffler Missing: Infraction.
Correctable Violation: VC 24008 Modified Clearance: Infraction.
Get license plates, remove the window tinting and then have car inspected at CHP, get car smog tested and install a muffler, raise or lower the car as appropriate and then have car inspected. Good luck to you.
Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.
