If you engaged in regular activity in the District of Columbia, but you lived in Maryland, can you still sue a business based on the laws in their state of practice?
Your question is a little too general. The DC Human Rights Office has jurisdiction over DC employers who discriminate on the grounds of disability. The DC Human Rights Office also has Jurisdiction over matters of housing discrimination within the District of Columbia based on disability as well as colleges and universities within DC who might discriminate in educational programming based on disability.
Hope this helps.
