So I got a speeding ticket for going 109 on highway 85 speed limit 65. I was on my way to work because I wasn't feeling well and I had to throw up. I still haven't gotten my ticket in the mail it's been 60 days. I assume I will have to go to court. I want to know what are the possible outcomes of this violation. This is my first ticket and I am a 25 year old female. I was speeding in a straight line.
When you hit triple digits, judges start considering jail time. Your reasoning is not an acceptable defense. Instead of speeding and putting yourself and others at risk, you should've pulled over.
The is a very serious ticket and requires a mandatory appearance by yourself OR an attorney.
This offense comes with 2 DMV points; significant fine and possible 30 day license suspension. Get an attorney! Didn't the officer give a citation that day?

Why were you not given a citation by the officer with a court date? Didn't you sign a promise to appear in court on a certain day? Did you somehow convince this officer to let you go with a warning but are worried you will still get a ticket in the mail?
