My son is 17 and got his girlfriend pregnant which is 16. Initially she wanted an abortion but her family is against it. My son will support her either way but don't believe in abortions. Her family tries very hard to keep them apart but my son wants to be there every step of the way but her family especially the aunt is making it hard for them. I just feel like the more they continue with the negativity it will make my son and her relationship crumble. The little girl says she is so stressed out
It depends on what you mean by this- options in terms of the parents keeping them apart, probably not much until they are adults.
If you are concerned about his rights once the child is born, he will have the ability to pursue legal rights through family court

Not much you guys can do to prevent an abortion. However, once the child is born, your son will want to establish his legal paternity and custody. Otherwise, the mother will be calling all the shots and can prevent your son from seeing his own child. Get a consult with an attorney in your area to learn more about your son's options. Good luck!
