I received a notice about a house in my neighborhood being in tax foreclosure and was to be auctioned on the court steps. I went to the auction and I won the bid, I gave the deposit and received a court document showing that the property had been sold to me. Two days later I receive a refund check in the mail saying refund due to bankruptcy, because the party filed bankruptcy one day after it had been sold to me.
You don't really have any options at this point. Wait to see what happens with the bankruptcy. A large majority of bankruptcies end of not receiving a discharge, so the house may well be back on the market soon. Or the debtor may give up possession of the home in the bankruptcy. You will have to wait for the legal process to play out.

The status of the real property will not be clear until the bankruptcy proceedings are concluded. Periodically check public records, and also any filings of a lis pendens with the Cabarrus County Clerk of Superior Court, for any signs of progress with respect to the property reentering the market. You might also consider retaining a local real property lawyer to monitor these developments for you, and help you act quickly in the event that the property does reappear on the market. Best wishes.
