I just received my 3rd speeding ticket in 15 months. I simply paid the other two, but I would really like it if my insurance didn’t find out about this third ticket! It was for 15mph over the posted speed limit.
I think I want to try for deferred adjudication, but I’d hate to pay the court costs and administrative fees if they will simply look at my other driving record and deny it.
You should be OK. Call the court and just ask if your situation fits (don't worry about your record, that rarely matters). At court, if your request should be denied ask for a reset and get a lawyer. Or get one now.
