Unfortunately I haven’t went to court for the first dui yet but my first court date is for the second dui and it might be too late for an attorney since it is a couple days away.
It's not to late to contact an attorney to discuss the facts of your case, defenses and possible outcomes. There really isn't a "standard" disposition in DUI cases without further information regarding why you were contacted (speeding, accident, parked) and your blood alcohol concentration (above .08, .15., .20) as these factors can mitigate or aggravate the consequences you face. I encourage you to contact a local DUI defense attorney to see what can be done for you.
This answer is not legal advice, it may not even be relevant to the question answered, it definitely is does not establish an attorney/client relationship.
If you want to hire an attorney, tomorrow you can ask the court for time to do so. In the alternative you can also ask for a public defender. Either way don’t do this without an attorney. Best of luck
It is not too late to hire an attorney. There is mandatory jail on a second DUI. Hire the best lawyer you can afford and get to work helping yourself.
do not do surgery on yourself. do not go to court without an attorney. there are strategies, defenses, and options that can help you. maybe avoid jail. reduce charges. plan how to set up the 2 cases. etc. an experienced attorney can help you. also set it up for limited, if any, license suspension.
