We would like to move but If I. pay the $78 late fee due on the 2nd , how much time does it actually buy me ?
We moved in 5/19. 7/19 found out I have to have a large tumor removed ASAP and I unable to work until after a 6 month recovery . My Boyfriends new job only pays on the 2nd of every month. We asked to move -out early but the landlord said that is breaking the lease and would keep our deposit and sue us for the months remaining .The $1350 rent is simply too costly on top of the imposed $78 fee every month and we also discovered I can not recover from my operation at that location because the electrical system will not afford any additional items plugged in .(blender, blow dryer , toaster ) the circuit blows and I will be needing machines to breathe and other similar things plugged in . We also have termites . We expressed all this to my landlord , no response. We want to move but for now, I just need to know how much time my late fee buys me.
