I have been subjected to workplace hostility resulting in retaliation. Further, I'm pregnant and every time I'm pregnant I get discriminated against.
I am sorry to hear about your work environment. Hostile work environments are not per se illegal. If you do not have an employment contract, then are an at will employee. As such, there is no law against workplace hostility in general. It must be hostility based on an illegal basis. The illegal basis would generally be because of sex, age, race, religion or national origin. You do not mention any of these as a reason for the hostility. You will need to provide more information. It is not illegal for an employer to be a bad boss. You also, as an at will employee, would be free to quit at any time and seek other employment. If the hostility is based on an illegal reason, then you should consult an employment law attorney immediately. You should speak with someone who generally represents employees rather than employers. I wish you the best.
