my boyfriends ex will not believe we are together, so when we are together i text her and say ex" we are together in disneyland " i have sent 6 texts in 4 months. she has called police and says its harassment. is it and what could become of it? Im scared!
I would think it unlikely that criminal charges would be filed under the circumstances that you describe. However, a civil anti-harassment order might be granted, a violation of which would be a crime.
My advice: stop sending the emails and do not share information about your conduct on a publicly viewed website.
I agree with Mr. Blair. I would add that a competent attorney likely should be able to defend you against the protection order as well since your communication is not designed to harass or annoy but to communicate that her relationship is over.
At your service,
If she tells you to stop texting her and you continue to do it anyway, that may be grounds for a civil anti-harassment order, a violation of which can get you charged with a crime. Right now though, what you describe does not see like it would be enough to get you charged with a crime.
Best advice: stop texting her.
