Adding to the others - the new owners obtained the property after a foreclosure sale - so any tenancy rights you had with the original owner likely went out the window. If you were evicted in a court proceeding THAT was the time to address those issues. Reporting the new owners to code enforcement and demanding they make repairs as if you were going to continue to be a tenant there was not likely a wise decision for obvious reasons.

I agree with my colleague; there is very little that can be done at this point. And you do not say in your post WHY you were evicted. Did you fail to pay your rent? If so, that was likely your mistake, you generally can't withhold rent, and the deadline for paying would have been at the end of the 3 day notice. Mold claims can be extremely problematic, and have to be properly noticed, and pled in a certain way. In any event, whatever the grounds are, if you were actually evicted, and you think it was wrongful, you should retain local tenants counsel and look into whether you might have a claim for "wrongful eviction." There is nothing or very little an attorney can do for you at this point.
The time to do something would have been before or maybe even during the time the eviction lawsuit was active. In the future, seek legal advice and hire an attorney while the attorney is able to do something for you. The law states that the sheriff's office and the owner are not liable for your things you leave behind when removed by the writ of possession. If you failed to bring up the mold and include the report as an exhibit to your filed Answer with the Clerk of Courts, it may be too late to bring it up now.
