I'm in dire need of an attorney and I am not in the situation where i can drop a huge Retainer. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
13 years army, currently in the reserves
You can check with your county and or state bar association as they do a lot of pro bono work for any veteran. An even better option in my opinion would be the contact per the below listed information.

Not all attorneys require large up front fee advances or high hourly rates. You will have to directly call different attorney's offices to get actual fee quotes or to set up a consultation. By way of example, I am a veteran and current service member in the Florida Army National Guard, and my law office offers free consultations for many types of family law cases and offers a 15% discount off our retainer and hourly rate for members actively serving on active duty or in the active reserves. I am sure there are others who offer similar benefits. Nobody can solicit your business on this Q&A forum so you will have to do your research and set up some appointments. Best wishes for a successful outcome in your case.
