i got arrested after a traffic stop in Cary NC i refused Breathalyzer after i got arrested and my VA license was taken away and i was told it was suspended for a year.Am i able to get my license back ? And if i can get my license back is it suspended nationwide or is it only suspended in NC only ?
Hire a traffic attorney ASAP!!! If you are convicted, you will not have access to ANY license in any state until the NC suspension is over. Refusing a breathalyzer equals an automatic suspension.
Hi. Sounds as if you were charged with willful refusal, not just DWI. And VADMV will uphold NCDMV,s suspension, and suspended in 1 state is suspended in all. Do you live in NC or VA? Have you received any mail from NCDMV about the refusal and your right to a hearing? Time is of the essence and you need an experienced traffic and DWI defense attorney. Please do not delay.
You should get an attorney to help you with your DWI case. If it has been six months or more since the refusal, you can get a limited driving privilege. Best of luck!
