USPS has lost my EAD card, and finally the manager is willing to write a letter to USCIS stating that the card was never delivered. I have been waiting for my EAD card since November 3rd 2014. I have not been able to work since Novermber 5th because my work permit as well as my driving license was
expired on November 5th and I do drive for living . It's very frustrating because nobody was helping me including USPS because they kept me waiting for a week in a hope to find my EAD card. It was my renewed EAD card on the basis of Adjustment of Status. I am very confused at the moment. Should I apply for replacement card? Should I send the the filing fee as well? Meanwhile, how can I renew my Driving License? Your help will be appreciated.
Call USCIS to see if they show it was delivered or returned to them. If USCIS shows delivered then unfortunately no option but to re-apply with fee. Terrible system!
If EAD was undelivered and returned to them, they will re-send it to you. However if USPS lost it, you will have to pay the filing fee as it is not USCIS error.

USCIS position is going to be - it was not their fault and you will have to deal with their customer service in case they got the card back so they could resend it. Otherwise - another I765.
