I have a pending application with USCIS since beginning of 2019. I was able to talk to a tier 2 customer representative in August regarding my expedite request, and they said since my case is already assigned to an officer, there is no need for expedite and I should receive a decision in few weeks.
Today - 3.5 months after that call - I was able to talk to another tier 2 rep and they said my case is not even assigned to an officer and my expedite request should be reviewed! Is there a better way to get a 'correct' status update? Is there anything I can do besides patiently waiting?
The only "truth" or fact you should believe is that USCIS, as in 99% of expedite request cases did not deem your case/situation worthy of "expedite". Sorry.
