Update to earlier question:
You answered my question earlier. Back in November I was 2 months behind on rent, my landlord took me to court and won possession of the property back. I had ten days to file an appeal which I didnt do. My landlord told me if I came up with the late rent as well as the next months rent (total of 3 months) i could stay. I came up with the money and stayed..fast forward 5 months and I haven't been able to pay my rent forApril, my landlord is saying he is going to file a writ and have the sheriff lock me out this week. Is this possible or does he have to start the eviction process all over...by the way we are on a month to month lease......... I received this message today. "Gotta be out by May 6th at 5pm. Deputy schedule to come with me then. " from my landlord. Is this how it would be communicated or would I get some sort of letter?
You will get notice from the Sheriff. You can contact the Sheriff's office and give them the case number and ask if they are processing a writ for that case.
