The Bahamas and Turks and Caicos are not considered a part of the CaribbeanWhen I contacted the cruise guys they say only a passport is required if the stay is less than 24 hours on the island. The itinerary has only 8 hrs on the island during the say and the 2 nights are sailing to and from FLL-Bahamas. Will automatic revalidation apply to this? or still I can't travel. Thanks for your time! Update as of 6/19: When I had a chat with the Bahamas.com website, I got a clarification email from the Bahamas Ministry of tourism. It states, "Indians traveling to The Islands Of The Bahamas will require a visa to enter The Bahamas. However, if your are coming on cruise to The Bahamas and will be on the island approximately eight (8) hours; this is considered in transit, so you won’t require a Bahamian Visitors visa. Sidhardhan, please be reminded if you plan to travel to The Bahamas by air or by cruise and staying a few days, you will need to apply for a visa. " Will this be helpful anyway? Thanks for your time!
If you will be leaving the U.S., then you will need a visa to return to the U.S.

Closed loop is irrelevant. Once you land in the Bahamas, you are in a foreign country. I wouldn't take the risk if I were you.
