I mailed a trial by written declaration to the court for my traffic ticket with a certified mail and return receipt, I put the check with the words NOT GUILTY - The due date was 11/27/18, the return receipt I received has a stamp with the receiver name and the date reads NOV 26, 2018. The check was cashed when they received it. It's been more than 90 days, and I haven't received a response yet. When I go to the court website to check the status on the ticket it says:
"Initial Due Date: 11/27/2018
Case Status: Closed
Disposition: Bail Forfeiture Before Hearing on 11/29/2018
Last Action: Auto Close Workflow Completed
Last Action Date: 11/29/2018
This ticket does not qualify for any online services."
Note: I have copies of what I sent. Also the scanned check that was cashed on 11.28.18 has the words not guilty along with the ticket number.
Sounds like the court messed up. Go to the court and look at the file. Which county?
