I live in Fresno, California and it gets hot. Today upper 80's. Inside the 5th wheel where I live upper 90's. She moved me out here from the house where I rented a room about a year & a half ago. The house was infested with roaches so the RV was a welcome relief. From day 1 it had a working swamp cooler, although yearly maintenance and anything else was on me. So with the weather already hot I had a good friend service the cooler today, replacing pads, cleaning & scrubbing algae, etc. He was in the process of using the hose to fill the cooler with water when the hose was yanked literally from his hand. I went outside to find out what was going on. She said I would not be able to use the swamp cooler at all. Due to her not paying the PG&E here and at another rental house of hers she said she was pulling the plug on me! This was about 30 minutes before I had to lock and leave for work. It gets terribly hot inside this rv even with the cooler. It's just me and my little dog who will DIE inside this unit while I'm at work. The landlord couldn't care less! Well I came home from work around 11:30 pm to discover the cooler completely missing and the awning ripped apart.
