They thought I was having breathing issues due to my mitral valve, I was having breathing issues, tightness in my chest, Coughing up phleem nasal problems and fatigue. They did test through my throat to see my heart and did a cath test where they go up the artery in the groin area. They were fixing to split my chest open on Monday but I have had the heart murmur since I was 9. When I got into the hospital the second evening my symptoms went away and breathing became normal and I was having sweating then cold chills during all of this before I went to the ER. We have told the managers several times over the last 3 months and they are still not getting it fixed. We believe we also have black mold under the house as they changed out our tub enclosure and was black mold under it from leak
Landlord has a duty by law to comply with the requirements of applicable building, housing, and health codes (See Florida Statute 83.51) . Depending on the circumstances, you have a right to terminate the rental agreement or withhold rent, but you must strictly follow the statutory notice provisions under Florida Statute 83.56, and even then your remedies are limited based upon the facts of your case. I would recommend that you hire a lawyer, this is a very tricky area of the law and strict compliance with the law is a must.
