I got a car accident where I was at fault. But the damages are not too much, just some scratches on the back bumper. No one got injured. We then got out the car, apologized and take some pictures of the damages. At the same day, I reposted this to my insurance carrier. Then I received a letter stating that the claimant demands amount of money that excesses my insurance limit. That is ridiculous and shock to me, cause this is the first time I got accident. But then I feel nervous and worry about the lawsuit that the claimant want to sue me.
So what I need to do now?
Report it to your insurance company. Let them hire a lawyer for you; this is why you pay for insurance.
Turn it over to your insurance company and be done with it.

Talk to a bad faith attorney. Someone needs to send your insurance company a letter requesting that they pay the limit on the claim and fi they don't do that, you will seek to have them pay for any judgment against you including the part that exceeds your insurance coverage. It sounds like you have already reported the claim, so I would not recommend that you talk to them again before you speak to a bad faith attorney.
I moved your question to Insurance since you really need assistance getting your insurance company to pay the claim. Good luck!
