I'm selling a property to a relative which is currently being lease under a month to month contract in. I provided the tenant with a 60 day notice to vacate the residence, yet the notice it's close to expire and the tenant doesn't seem to be planning on leaving. She's hoping to buy a house within the 60 day notice. I'm concerned she won't leave, and just ask to extend her stay. I'm trying to avoid an altercation and an eviction process. What are my options? If the tenant request to extend her stay should I accept? I'm not looking forward to continue to deal with the tenant. I want her out of the residence as soon as possible, so I can sell the rental property.
If she doesn’t leave after 60 days you will have to start the eviction process
