My case for Removal Proceeding is scheduled for Master Hearing on Immigration Court where I have planned for submitting the application for asylum which I qualify; however, I have applied for TPS which also I qualify. I have come to know that if TPS is granted, my Removal Proceeding gets frozen and my application for asylum also gets frozen, meaning, the court will not proceed on making any judgments till the TPS validity date expires.
Does getting TPS approved hinder on my Removal Proceeding and asylum case at Immigration court?
How the DHS will handle my Removal Proceeding case and asylum in the context of me having TPS approved? Because approved TPS allows me to stay in the US and Removal Proceeding is asking the US to let me leave the US formally.
I am assuming you are either from Nepal or Syria? Either way, if you do have a strong asylum case, you should be discussing these matters with an attorney offline - one that works regularly on removal defense and asylum. TPS can stop your removal process but I don't think your asylum process would have to be stopped but it would be continued outside of the removal proceedings.

One can fee that Nepal was added to TPS eligibility. We have nonstop questions now about TPS. You can continue submitting your application for asylum. The DHS may move to terminate proceedings once TPS is granted> you may insist not to since you want to file asylum or if the thing is terminated, file asylum with USCIS.
