We booked the reservation from 21st to 25th and it was cancelled at very last minute.
So we booked another reservation where the place smelled like weed with all the areas so dirty and we took it to airbnb and they confirmed with us over the phone that we can go ahead and cancel the reservation which was 12 midnight. We were there and we have a pregnant lady in group and a 2 year old kid who started getting sick.
We left the place and already our brain was not working and we ended up making 2 more reservations for the same days.
For one reservation we requested to refund since it was a mistake and with all our efforts we only got refunded 50 percent plus we have not received a dollar yet from the place where it smelled like weed.
Our 2 days almost got wasted because of Airbnb and still there is no solution or compensation at their end. They should learn a lesson from this and I want to sue them atleastnfor few million dollars.
you need to treat what happened to you as a contract issue. Read the contract or terms of service between you and ABB as well as the terms that apply to the individuals who rent their places.
