I have approved I-140 (approved date 1/4/2013) with my current employer and my spouse is working on H4 EAD (based on new I-140 rule). I got the H1B extension till 10/10/2018 and applied H4 EAD renewal for my spouse.
Could you please let me know whether it will affect my spouse EAD if I change the employment? also whether my I-140 will be active and what will be visa expiration date if I change my employment?
You definitely need to speak with your company counsel, who is better familiar with your immigration case and should be able to advise you in a confidential manner.

I would put it this way - if the I-140 is not valid, your application for EAD will be denied.
