I was in an car accident the lawsuit was settle outside of the courtroom. with that being said, the document that was sent out to my home stated that i hit there car when in fact they hit my car.

No. First, anything said in a lawsuit is privileged so you cannot sue about it based on defamation. Second, you can simply sue them back in the lawsuit for hitting you.
