My sister is seeking sole custody of three small children from an alcoholic husband. They have been separated for 6 months. He is also trying to get sole custody only to exert control over my sister. He is unfit as a parent often disappearing for days on alcohol binges. The lawyer of the kids seems to leaning toward him for full custody soley bc he has a job and my sister does not. He is a man that has displayed physical and mental abuse towards my sister, whats from stopping him to doing this with the kids. He is a very good liar and manipulative person, and if you don't know his history you can easily fall prey to his lies. What can my sister do? She is scared she will lose her children to this man. As a family member what can I do?
